Grantham Running Club Road Race Best Performances and Club Records

Note: Performances are by first and second claim GRC members and taken from when the club rankings records began in October 2013 plus some times that I have been made aware of from April 2012 - September 2013.. I believe there are no club record performances prior to this period, but there may well be some additional times times that would be included in the tables of best performances, that are included in the pdf below.

Marathon

Men – Matthew Kingston-Lee, 2:41:42, London, 23 April 2017

Women** – Holly Durham, 3:17:41, London, 23 April 2017

* Jānis Arseņikovs is credited in the 2014-15 rankings as running: 33:16, Oslo, Norway, 25 April 2015. Technically as he joined the club in autumn 2014 and did not rejoin, his membership lapsed on 1 April 2015.

** The Manchester Marathons held in 2013, 2014, and 2015 were found to be 380 meters short. Anna O’Hare ran 3:13:18 at Manchester on 19 April 2015, so unfortunately her time doesn’t count as a club record. Given that the London Marathon GFA process added two minutes to Manchester Marathon times, she would almost certainly have set the club record in a full length marathon.
