10 Weeks to 10K.

The 10 week to 10k programme is designed to help novice runners increase their distance gradually and safely. Participants should already be able to comfortably run 5k (3miles) before enrolling on the course.

The sessions will help you slowly increase your distance and pace over the 10 week programme. The plan involves three runs per week, with a day of rest in-between and varied sessions and routes across the duration of the programme. You may benefit more by joining with family or friends to help each other out.

All participants will have access to a closed facebook page so you can interact with the other new runners in the group. It’s a great way to encourage one another if you’re not feeling motivated to get out.

All of our run leaders have completed the English Athletics Leadership in Running Fitness, have been vetted by the Disclosure and Barring Service and are covered by UKA Public Liability Insurance.

The sessions start on Monday 27th March 2017 at 18:45 at the Grantham Tennis Club and run every Monday and Wednesday excluding public holidays till the end of the program.
