Grantham's premier cross country challenge at Belton International Horse Trials
Grantham Running Club are pleased to announce that in 2017 we shall again be staging one of the region’s favourite and most unique off road running experiences. Last year included our first ever canicross entries, which proved to be a such a fantastic addition to the day. This year we are trying to make the event even more dog friendly.
The Grantham Cup 10k trail race is integrated into the world-renowned three day Belton International Horse Trial event. It is a 10k cross-country race, run through the beautiful grounds of the Belton House Estate near Grantham, Lincolnshire. The route takes in a mixture of gradients and offers some stunning views from the heights of Belmont Tower, as well as passing through the majestic deer park.
Grantham Running Club are proud to be supporting a local community organisation, with profits from the race going to Foxdale Equine Assisted Learning (FEAL), a fantastic organisation operating locally at Oasby. FEAL offers support and help to young people and families living with life limiting or life threatening conditions.
Race entry is £12 for affiliated runners, £14 for non-affiliated, and includes:
