  • Occupation: Emergency Medical Technician, currently work for a private ambulance service
  • Years Running: I have been running for a year with GRC, but I did a fair amount of running with the Army, but never entered any races.
  • Favourite/ Least Favourite race:My favourite race to date was the Peterborough 1/2 last year as I just ran as I felt but that was mainly because I forgot my Garmin, and my least favourite race has to be the Stamford 30k the last few hill destroyed me but I'm doing it again this year so I hope to beat my time. Plus I was bullied into it by Wendy
  • Why did you start running: I started to run mainly because you're forced to when you join the army then when I left it made sense to carry on running.
  • Furthest Distance Run: 20 miles.
  • Injuries: I've had tears to ACLs on both knees
  • Trainers worn: Been wearing Brooks for a few years. Current trainers are Brooks defyance 7s
  • Favourite running kit: My new Garmin 910XT Wendy got me for Christmas.
  • Top tips from my experience: Eat at least 2 hours before you race and eat something you are used too.
  • How many miles per week running: Not many at moment due to work but aim for 20-25 miles.
