Why did you start running? I started to run because I got volunteered for the great North run
Injuries received?: I have not received any injuries as of yet, touch wood
Furthest Distance ran?: half marathon
Trainers worn: I use the Lincoln runner and have always been recommended Brooks trainers
Top tip from your experience: Try and enjoy running and if you find it difficult during a race just slow down for a few mins to recover and keep remembering that this is supposed to be fun not torture
How many miles do you run per week? 20 miles
Favourite Running Kit? My compression socks my long karrimor running trouser and my grc top
Other hobbies? Swimming, Gym, Socialising
GRC was formed during the summer of 2010 by a group of runners
ranging from the complete novice to the seasoned club runner.
Since forming we have been a vibrant, growing club with almost
200 members and three UKA licensed coaches and twelve UKA licensed run leaders . We hope that joining not only
improves the times and enjoyment from your running but also introduces
you to new friends and the activities we take part in.
