• Years Running: I ran school cross country etc but stopped at approx 15. I started running again in 2008.
  • Favourite race: London Marathon. The crowd support is incredible with a wall of noise all the way. It must be experienced.
  • Least Favourite race: I don't really have one. I find cross country tough but always enter each year.
  • Why did you start running? I can't remember! I think it was an element of keeping fit. It then progressed from that into something that I really enjoy.
  • Injuries received?: I tore my calf last year which has caused me a number of issues.
  • Furthest Distance ran?: Full marathon.
  • Trainers worn: Asics Gel Kayano.
  • Top tip from your experience: Increase training mileage and pace gradually. Check your diet. Enter a race and enjoy. Repeat.
  • Favourite running kit? Nike, Asics and Inov8.
  • How many miles do you run per week? I average 16. I want to increase this.
  • Other hobbies? Bikes. I have also tried a triathlon and will probably do another.
  • Future Goals: I would like to improve my times for 10k (aim sub 40), half (aim sub 1:25 and full (aim sub 3:00) marathon.
