  • Favourite race: Summer Solstice, due to achieving my goal of sub one hour.
  • Least Favourite race: Gold Cup, it's the only other race I've done so far and it was very muddy and hilly!
  • Why did you start running? I was entered by work into a charity 5k run and knew that I couldn't eve run to the end of the road, so I joined the Couch to 5k GRC program in April 2015.
  • Injuries received?: None until recently.. injured foot although no idea how! Hoping to be back running again as soon as possible due to my upcoming Great North Run.
  • Furthest Distance ran?: 7.5 miles
  • Trainers worn: Asics Gel Kayano 22
  • Top tip from your experience: Your body will do what your mind tells it to do, so "just keep running."
  • Favourite running kit? GRC 2015 C25K graduation top!
  • How many miles do you run per week? At the moment none! But usually try to do between 6-12 miles over the week and trying to increase the distance on one run a week to get to a half marathon distance.
  • Other hobbies? Ferrying the children around to all their various activites, swimming and weight training (me not the children!)
  • Future Goals: To finish the Great Northern Half Marathon in September.
