The Cambridge University’s Hare and Hounds Running Club organise a marathon every spring all round the city boundary passing through the best of the Cambridgeshire countryside on a mostly off road course. Competing in his second marathon run in consecutive days GRC’s Paul Rushworth was in good form completing the over length course some 17 minutes faster than the previous day’s muddier challenge to finish 58th in a top quality field in a time of 3:51:03. Teammate Catherine Payne was 11th lady home in 4:13:58 and Robert McArdle‘s 4:14:30 was good enough to place him in the top half of the field
