Four Grantham Running Club members joined a small but enthusiastic field of runners and walkers for this year's Caythorpe Canter. Holly Durham was competing at marathon distance for the second weekend in succession following last week's PB in Manchester. Unfortunately, for her, a wrong turn at around mile fourteen meant she actually ran 29 miles this weekend but enjoyed the camaraderie among the lost runners who were very thankful to eventually see the familiar spire of Caythorpe Church. Ben Hatherley also completed the 26.2 miles in his build up to the Milton Keynes Marathon jogging home in seventh place in 3:36:47. Competing in the 13 mile challenge were Mark Hillson and Iain Brown completing the course in times of 1:38:19 and 1:58:14 respectively.
