Rhodes Half Marathon

On the 26th April 26, Robin Atter from Grantham Running club took part in the 11th TUI Rhodes half Marathon which turned into a great celebration of sports, culture and extroversion. Runners from 70 countries took part, running on one of the most beautiful routes in the Mediterranean, next to the vast blue sea and the historic walls of the Medieval City of Rhodes, sending a strong message of international visibility.

Having had a set back to his early 2026 season due to injury and recovery, Robin’s aim was to get around the half marathon and enjoy the atmosphere.

With the sun already in full force at the 7:30am start and a starting temperature of 23°c this was a hot event.  However. Robin enjoyed his 6th European race, finishing in 01:57:02.

All participants received a medal, t shirt, race goodies from the sponsors TUI and free race photos.

The race winner was Imo Muller (Netherlands) and first Lady back Alice Michel (France).
