Run Sandringham 10K

On Sunday 15th June, two members of Grantham Running Club headed south to the Sandringham Royal Estate to take part in the Run Sandringham 10K.

Brian Hawkins and Anna Harding joined around 1,500 runners took part across the 5K and 10K events, enjoying the scenic roads and trails around the estate, along with a summer festival atmosphere.

The course was a challenging, with mixed terrain including grass, longer grass, gravel, woods, paths, etc. It certainly kept the runners focused from start to finish and the stunning Norfolk countryside views didn’t disappoint.

Both GRC members had good runs, with Brian crossing the line 40:54, giving him 4th in his age category and 33rd place overall. Anna was 10th in her age category in 53:58.
