Favourite race: Newton’s Fraction, as it was my first race.

Why did you start running? To try and get fit and healthy for my children.

Injuries received? Few blisters and the odd stiff back, nothing serious, touch wood!

Furthest Distance ran? 15 miles.

Trainers worn: Brooks Ravenna7

Favourite running kit? My couch to 5k graduation t-shirt.

Top tip from your experience: Remember to enjoy yourself.

How many miles do you run per week? Try to do at least two 10 km runs.

Other hobbies? Darts, ten pin bowling and searching for my ball when trying to play golf.
