Normanby Hall 10K

Two GRC members joined 648 other runners for a 10k round the lovely Normanby Hall estate just outside Scunthorpe.

First back was Dale Towning in his first race since completing the epic 30 plus mile Canalathon recently and he was pleased with his time of 53:08 as he was still carrying some fatigue in his legs.

Also running was club newcomer Martin Kay who recently completed our Begin to Run programme and has taken to racing like a duck to water having also run his first ever race at our Summer Solstice 10k in June. He was very pleased with his time of 1:03:48.
First to cross the line overall was Tom Straw in an outstanding 31:02. The first female to finish was Sophie Wallis in a fantastic 33:59.

This was another very well organised event from Curly’s Athletes. Pictures c/o Keith Lindley
