On a murky 12th October, the Shelton 10k took place. Organised by Shelfton Striders, the race by runners provided a budget friendly, well origanised event. Beginning and ending at Boultham Community centre, the flat and fast course incorporated a canal path and road.
The event also includes the option of a 2 mile fun run and a cake sale with proceeds going to Hardy Group.
2 members of Grantham Running Club emerged from the gloom to cross the finish.
Tony Johnson ran an impressive time of 48.39, followed by Jo Grace, who was testing the legs pace post her mammoth Equinox24. She crossed the line in a tidy 52:37.
