GRC Donation to the B.Hive Community

At the recent GRC Awards Night, a raffle was held to raise funds for our chosen local charity the BHive Community in Grantham. We were very happy to be able to visit their facilities to hand over more than £400 to Rob Dixon who also gave us a tour of the radio studio.

The Bhive Community Centre is a centrally located facility that provides a large variety of services for Grantham and the surrounding area. These include:

  • South Lincolnshire Blind Society, providing support and advice to help the visually impaired
  • Grantham Dementia Cafe – help and advice for people with Dementia, their carers and families.
  • Time2B Counselling for anyone feeling anxious, depressed or experiencing low mood
  • Bee on Yer Bike – recycling, repairing and servicing bikes. All proceeds donated to charity
  • Women’s Wellbeing Group
  • Place2Bee Men’s Group
  • Grantham Carers Knit and Natter
  • Weeding Wednesday (gardening)
  • Book Club
  • Photography Group
  • Night Light Cafe
