Woodhall Spa 10K

Sunshine, speed, and standout performances — Woodhall Spa’s 10K on Sunday 14 June 2026 had it all. The day began warm and only got hotter, but the famously fast and flat loop still lived up to its PB‑friendly reputation.

GRC absolutely shone, with 27 members taking part. Five runners smashed their 10K PBs with two more clocking course bests. The women of GRC were the stars of the show:

Rachel Hamilton stormed to 43:24, slicing 1:40 off her best.
Jo Grace followed with a superb 46:31, a 1:42 improvement.
Katie Wallace powered to 47:34, taking 1:33 off her PB.
Katherine Thompson trimmed 10 seconds for a new 53:20.
Kris Radford celebrated a huge 1:48 PB with her 1:03:18 finish.

Course PBs also went to Jaimie Lord and Robert Pask, rounding off a brilliant day for the club.
Curly’s Athletes once again delivered a well‑supported, feel‑good event, complete with a bespoke medal, that celebrated the towns RAF heritage, and cake waiting at the finish.

The race was won by William Strangeway (Lincoln Wellington AC) in 31:12.
