Notfast and Bushy 10k’s

Notfast 10k
Despite the hot weather this revised route starting and finishing at Newark Rugby Club produced some fast times for our local runners with both Paul Rushworth and Ben Hatherley from GRC going sub 40 minutes for the first time this season and Penny Hodges picking up a prize as forth lady home.

Bushfield 10k
Also with a revised route the Bushfield 10k in Peterborough attracted a very strong field with the Grantham Runners being led home by GRC’s Dave Kay completing his third race in five days, although not his best time of the season it was still good enough to give him a top twenty finish. Running well as GAC’s sole representative Keith Measures picked up a prize in the Vet 60 category with a season’s best.
